Ways of Working

We ask people to be in the office in Bristol twice a week, and outside of those two days, you have the flexibility to set your hours in between the hours of 7am and 8pm. When you’re not the office, you can work from your home address, another address in the UK, or a coffee shop if you fancy it.

5% Pension Contribution

CareScribe pays 5% into your pension, which is operated through NEST pensions.

Work Away

If you have family abroad or just want to explore, you can work remotely from overseas or elsewhere in the UK for 10 days a year, and extend your trip by using annual leave.

MatchGiving

We want to ensure we're supporting those who need it, and supporting our team to do great things. That's why if you're fundraising for a charity event, we'll match up to £200 to boost your efforts.

Life Assurance Cover

Should the unthinkable happen, CareScribe will pay a full year’s salary to a beneficiary of your choosing.

Enhanced Holiday

You start with 25 days holiday, gaining an extra day each year up to 30 days. You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annually, but the total cannot exceed 30 days.

Enhanced Parental Support

If you’re having a baby (including adoption and surrogacy), we offer up to 16 weeks at 100% pay and 8 weeks at 50% pay. Partners can also take up to 6 weeks at 100% pay within 12 months of the birth. To help close the financial gap, we provide enhanced pension payments during periods of half-pay.

Compassionate Leave

Life can sometimes get tough, and we're here to support you through grief and trauma. If you need to take time off work, we offer 30 days of paid compassionate leave and an additional 10 days for baby loss.

Company Sick Pay

Our health and wellbeing policy covers all aspects of physical and mental illness, including hospital stays, and just needing to take time off to rest. We're pleased to offer four weeks of full pay followed by an additional four weeks of half pay in every 12 month period, with additional support of 10 days for people living with menopause.

Mental Health Support

CareScribe provides access to Spill, a mental health platform as an additional resource if you need support quickly whether that is through counselling, by email or access to mental health resources.

Neurodiversity Diagnosis Support

We understand that obtaining a diagnosis can be a significant financial burden, if you are in the process of being diagnosed with a neurodiversity, we will provide up to £500 in every 12-month period to help cover related costs.
