Reasonable Adjustments: Transitioning Teams from Home to Office Happily!

The shift from home to office can be challenging for many employees – especially those who are neurodivergent, returning from extended sick leave, or adjusting after parental leave. After years of flexibility brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional office environment may feel daunting for some.

In March, Devon Lowndes will join us to help managers start the conversations and understand what reasonable adjustments might be needed and why they matter, to provide a happier and healthier return to work.

Have you been asking yourself…

  • Why don’t my employees want to return to the office?
  • How do I identify and implement reasonable adjustments effectively?
  • What’s the best way to balance business needs with employee well-being?

If so, this webinar is for you.

Navigating the Return with Empathy

In this free webinar, Devon Lowndes – Neuroinclusion Consultant and Founder of Self Agency – will equip managers with strategies to bridge the gap between organisational needs and individual concerns. You’ll gain practical insights into why employees may feel anxious about returning and learn how to implement effective, fair, and compassionate reasonable adjustments that empower your team to transition back to the office with confidence and positivity.

This commitment not only enhances productivity but also fosters an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute their best.

During the session, you’ll learn how to:

Engage employees in their return-to-office process with genuine empathy. By adopting practical strategies to build trust and promote a positive mindset, you can strengthen connections across your diverse teams and ensure a smooth transition back to the workplace.

Start productive conversations about reasonable adjustments. Use tools and resources to empower you to confidently address individual needs while maintaining fairness and professionalism.

Develop a sustainable and manageable process for implementing reasonable adjustments. By ensuring that these processes are effective, practical, and adaptable, you can empower teams of any size to thrive.

Foster a culture of inclusivity and flexibility to improve retention and productivity. Organisations should actively promote and embrace diverse ways of working that prioritise employee well-being and drive performance.

Neuroinclusion Consultant & Founder

Hello, I’m Devon Lowndes, a Neuroinclusion Consultant and advocate for the Disabled and Neurodivergent communities in Bristol. Four years ago, I founded Self-Agency to support organisations in creating workplaces where neurodivergent people can thrive.

As someone with ADHD and dyslexia, I understand what it feels like to be different. It hasn’t always been easy for me to get my work environment right. But once I learnt what adjustments my brain needs and how to make them happen, I stopped being disabled by my workplace. Now, I help others do the same.
