Where you come in
As our Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in enabling our business to grow by owning and developing our core financial processes and working proactively to optimise and improve how the Finance function works. You’ll work across the organisation to further Finance as an enabling force across the business, leveraging automation, technology and cross-functional relationships to deliver impactful change.
This is a unique opportunity to think creatively, work beyond traditional boundaries, and shape a business function. If you’re excited to work at pace and own the financial delivery of a growing SaaS business, while also solving meaningful challenges, this is the opportunity for you. You’ll report to the Senior Finance & Operations Manager and together you will work closely to develop Finance as an enabler in an exciting and high-growth tech business.
What you’ll be doing
- Keeping our finances running smoothly – managing core finance processes like accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and expenses, while ensuring invoices are issued and payments are collected on time.
- Providing clear financial insights – delivering accurate reports to support decision-making and working with accountants on VAT returns and company accounts.
- Leading financial efficiency – as a value-for-money advocate, you’ll tackle financial inefficiencies by reviewing spend, optimising costs, and ensuring resources are used effectively. This includes managing software licenses to avoid unnecessary costs and improving procurement and financial decisions to maximise value.
- Enabling business growth – working closely with the Senior Finance and Operations manager to ensure Finance is a driver of innovation, supporting planning, forecasting, and budgetary decision-making across teams – and much more.
About you
- Experienced in day-to-day Finance operations in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Proven ability to drive improvement to finance processes, championing technology and automation.
- Demonstrable expertise in financial systems and solutions – you know your way around Xero and adjacent software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess financial performance and provide meaningful reporting and recommendations
- Accomplished in producing regular management reports (Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Forecast and Balance Sheet)
- Hold (or are working toward) a finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA), preferred but not essential.
